Saturday, October 4th - Beginners Basic Workshop
With Natalie Lorber and Anne Ondrey
Learn the Basics!
This 2-1/2 hour workshop is designed for both beginners and intermediate students wanting more detail to postural alignment. This is a great way to learn the basics in an intimate, non-competitive environment. Diana will take you through the fundamentals of alignment and breath work as you begin to experience for yourself some of the benefits that arise from practicing yoga such as:
- Increased flexibility
- Increased strength
- Cardiovascular and digestive health
- Sense of well being & relaxation
In this workshop you will learn proper yogic breathing techniques, sun salutations, standing poses and hip openers. Workshop will conclude with a deep relaxation. Wear comfortable clothing.
Slow
Flow Vinyasa
This practice works with more fluid movements and allows the student
to “ride with the wave of the breath”. Builds strength, flexibility
and fluidity of the spine. Experience the wave of your body’s movements
in these classes. Movement is brought to normally steady poses,
and like vinyasa we move in tune with our breath. This class is
geared towards the healthy beginner student.
Wednesdays & Fridays (starting in October)
4:45 - 5:45p.m.
Meditation/Yoga
Nidra
With Jennifer Kovalchik
Spend
an hour going deep within while being guided through pranayama/
breath practices to prepare the body for meditation and yoga nidra/yogic
sleep. Yoga Nidra is a practice of very deep relaxation and incredible
calmness where the instructor takes you through a “rotation
of consciousness” through the body and in your mind.

Prenatal Yoga

Postpartum Yoga

Paula Gardner
Postnatal yoga
offers the healthy opportunity for the new mom to get back in shape
after childbirth. Many women have difficulty finding the time to
take care of themselves after the baby arrives, so bring your baby
with you and enjoy this time together!

Postpartum Pilates
This is a chance for mom to get back
into shape with the Pilates Method while not being separated from
her new baby.
Tuesdays (6 week session)
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
